Preservative-free semi-gloss paint
Preservative-free, semi-gloss topcoat with excellent coverage for outstanding, texture-preserving finishes in interior areas. Wet abrasion resistance class 1 according to EN 13300.
Application: Indoors. Due to its thin-film, structure-preserving properties, it is especially suitable for use on MEGA glass fabric, MEGA PRO fleece, and fleece fiber. Other suitable substrates include solid plaster, plasterboard, concrete, woodchip wallpaper, sound old paint, and similar surfaces after appropriate pretreatment/priming. It is also approved for use in rooms where food is stored/used.

Processing this preservative-free paint:
Can be applied by brush, roller, and airless spray. Stir thoroughly before use. To avoid streaks on larger surfaces, apply quickly wet-on-wet. When applying by airless spray, sift the paint and thin if necessary.
Substrate: The substrates must be load-bearing, solid, dry, and free of dirt, efflorescence, discoloration, fungal growth, sinter layers, fine grain layers, and separating substances. Existing old coatings must be tested for suitability, adhesion, and load-bearing capacity. Please observe VOB, Part C, DIN 18363, Paragraph 3, and the relevant BFS information sheets. Non-adhering old coatings must be completely removed. Highly absorbent or unevenly absorbent substrates must be pre-treated with MEGA 271 Hydrosol EKF. Pre-coat non-absorbent or smooth surfaces, large surfaces, or surfaces with significant lateral light incidence with MEGA 272 Leveling Primer EKF.
Technical data
Dilution: Ready to use. Dilute with approximately 5% water if necessary. Cleaning tools: Wash with soap and water immediately after use. Drying: At +23°C and 50% relative humidity, recoat after approximately 4-6 hours. Allow longer drying times in cool, humid conditions.
Consumption: Approx. 130 - 140 ml/m² for one coat, depending on the substrate. Exact consumption values for calculations must be determined on the project. Airless spraying: With the MEGA Quick & Easy 4.0 airless unit. With conventional airless units: Nozzle: 0.021 - 0.026 inch. Spray pressure: 150 - 180 bar. Spray angle: approx. 40 - 50°.
General information
Processing temperature: At least +8 °C for air and substrate.
Storage: Store in a cool, but frost-free place. Close opened containers tightly and consume promptly. Shelf life: at least 24 months if unopened.

Disposal instructions: Only recycle completely empty containers. Dispose of liquid material residues at an authorized collection point for old paint/varnish. Dried material residues can be disposed of as cured paint or as household waste. AVV waste code no. 080112.
EU limit value for this product: Product category: A/a 30 g/l VOC (2010) This product contains < 1 g/l VOC.

Please note:
When used in rooms for food and beverage storage, we recommend removing these items during the renovation and drying phase.
Hazard and safety information: Caution! Dangerous respirable droplets can be produced when spraying. Do not breathe aerosol or mist. Keep out of reach of children. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water. Remove contact lenses, if present and continue rinsing. If application is possible by spraying: Use combination filter A2/P2 and safety goggles for overspray. Wear safety goggles if splashing is dangerous. When sanding, use dust filter P2 and safety goggles. Ensure thorough ventilation during application and drying. Avoid eating, drinking and smoking while the paint is in use. Do not allow product to enter drains, waterways or the soil. Wash away paint splashes on all types of surfaces with water while still wet. See EC safety data sheet for further information.
