Application of the color MEGAgreen:

For ceilings and walls where a matte finish is desired, on woodchip wallpaper, plaster, concrete, Styrofoam, plasterboard, etc., as well as sound old paint and similar surfaces after appropriate pretreatment/priming. Also tested for use in rooms where food is stored/used.

Application: Can be applied by brush, roller, and airless sprayer. Stir thoroughly before use. Specially optimized for application with the MEGA Quick & Easy 4.0.

Please note: To avoid joints on larger surfaces, rapid wet-on-wet coating is required. Always coat adjoining surfaces using the same application method. If necessary, apply a base coat of MEGA 272 Levelling Primer EKF to areas exposed to grazing light. Cleaning work on the dry coating film can change the surface's gloss level or cause slight abrasion. With colored paint finishes, mechanical stress on the surface can lead to scratches (the so-called writing effect). If the product is used in rooms for the storage of beverages and food, we recommend removing these items for the renovation and drying phase. Carry out partial touch-ups on the dried paint film using the same material and tools. Depending on the incidence of light, the touch-up area may show marks.

Substrate: The substrates must be load-bearing, solid, dry, and free of dirt, efflorescence, discoloration, fungal growth, sinter layers, fine grain layers, and separating substances. Existing old coatings must be tested for suitability, adhesion, and load-bearing capacity. Please observe VOB, Part C, DIN 18363, Paragraph 3, and the relevant BFS information sheets. Non-adhering old coatings must be completely removed. It is recommended to create test areas before starting work to test the adhesion and surface appearance. Pre-treat highly absorbent or unevenly absorbent substrates with MEGA 271 Hydrosol EKF. Pre-coat non-absorbent or smooth surfaces, large surfaces, or surfaces with significant lateral light incidence with MEGA 272 Leveling Primer EKF.

Technical data

Dilution: Ready to use. Dilute with approximately 5% water if necessary.

Cleaning of tools: Immediately after use with soap and water.

Drying: At +23°C and 50% relative humidity, the surface is dry and ready to paint after approximately 6 hours. At lower temperatures or higher humidity, the drying time is longer.

Consumption: Approximately 140 - 170 ml/m² for one coat, depending on the substrate. Exact consumption values ​​for calculation purposes must be determined on-site.
