A semi-gloss, water-dilutable, weather-resistant protective coating for all wood components with limited dimension stability, such as roof soffits, facade boarding, wooden balconies, frieze fences, shutters, half-timbered beams, and dimensionally stable components such as windows and exterior doors. Also suitable for coating zinc and aluminum façade components, such as gutters and downpipes. For indoor and outdoor use.
Binder: special acrylate
Gloss level: satin gloss
Viscosity: The material is ready for processing.
Drying at 20°C / 60% relative humidity. Dust-dry after 30 - 60 minutes. Overcoating instructions: To achieve optimal insulating properties, the coating must be allowed to dry for at least 16 hours. The insulating properties of LUCITE® 152 Weather Protection should always be tested by applying a test coat. For woods containing wood components, a primer coat of LUCITE® 022 Multiprimer or an additional topcoat (3rd coat) may be necessary. Low temperatures and/or poor ventilation can negatively affect drying. Can be recoated after 4 - 6 hours. Fully cured after 5 - 7 days.
Consumption: Brush / roller 130 ml/m² The consumption depends very much on the type of application and the absorbency of the substrate.
Density: 1.08 - 1.28 g/cm³
Storage: Store in the sealed original container in a cool, dry, and frost-free place. Consume promptly after opening.
Block resistance: yes
Products of the same type are conditionally miscible. In general, mixing different materials should be avoided. Protect the container and material from moisture, frost, direct sunlight, and high temperatures. Opened containers should always be tightly closed. Adequate ventilation must be ensured during and after application. When coating visually connected surfaces, ensure that batches are the same. Bright, intensive colors often have lower coverage due to pigmentation. In these cases, we recommend an opaque primer coat with our matching base coat, Cover Up. Coating films in intense and dark colors are prone to pigment breakage under mechanical stress. This abrasion on the coating surface is state-of-the-art and is not objectionable. On substrates containing water-soluble substances (water stains, nicotine, wood constituents, etc.), an appropriate primer must be used to seal off the ingredients. On horizontal and permanently wet surfaces, it must be ensured that the coating is not subjected to constant stress, e.g. from standing water. In the event of contact with products containing plasticizers (door and window seals, etc.), the sealant manufacturer's approval must be obtained or a test coat must be applied. If the product is used in rooms for the storage of beverages and food, we recommend removing the product during renovation and drying. When using the product, the current standards and guidelines of the trades must be observed (cf. VOB DIN18363 Part C, leaflets of the Federal Committee for Paint and Property Protection e. V., contents of training aids, etc.). This technical data sheet cannot list all possible application scenarios. If you have any questions about facts, circumstances, or their technical processing and treatment not listed, please always consult our technical field service or the applications technology department. viceHot li ne: +49 2330 63 243 If you are unsure about use or compatibility, please contact us using one of the following service options: Email address: All er gi ker be ra infoanwendungstechnik@doerken.de tung: +49 2330 63 184 Products that are not used correctly cannot be accepted.
