Interior wall paint sol-silicate

ECO-certified sol-silicate paint for interior use, with wet abrasion resistance class 3 according to DIN EN 13 300. Meets the requirements of DIN 18 383 Section 2.4.1, dispersion silicate paint. Combines the excellent application properties of dispersion paints with the positive building physics properties of silicate paints. Can be used on almost all substrates commonly encountered in interior wall painting.

Megasol wall paint

Particularly suitable for high-quality, environmentally friendly interior wall and ceiling coatings on mineral substrates, woodchip wallpaper, old mineral paint coatings, and matte emulsion paints. Exceptionally good leveling properties, especially on uneven surfaces.

Processing instructions for Megasol

Application: With roller and brush.

Substrate: The substrate must be clean, dry, and load-bearing. The guidelines of VOB, Part C, DIN 18 363, Paragraph 3 must be observed. Non-adhering old coatings must be completely removed. Only apply new plaster after it has air-dried. Clean and dust old plaster. Prime absorbent substrates with MEGA 206 Silicate Primer, MEGA 201 Plaster Primer, MEGA 202 Hydro Primer, or MEGA 203 Primer Concentrate according to the instructions. Prime slightly absorbent substrates with MEGA 253 Primer WP plus, 251 Universal Primer, or 258 Primer White according to the instructions.

Primer coat: If necessary, dilute MEGA 361 Megasol with max. 5% clear, clean water.

Final coat: Use MEGA 361 Megasol undiluted or dilute up to 5% with clear, clean water.

Technical data

Dilution: Ready for use, if necessary up to max. 5% with water.

Tinting: With commercially available silicate solid and tinting colors.

Cleaning tools: Rinse with water immediately after use. Leave tools immersed in the paint during breaks to prevent drying.

Drying: At 20°C and 50% relative humidity, the paint can be recoated the same day. In cool, humid conditions, allow for a longer drying time. Complete drying and full wash resistance are achieved after one week.

Consumption: Approx. 140 - 160 ml/m² for one coat, depending on the substrate. Determine exact consumption values ​​on a project-by-project basis.

General information

Application temperature: Minimum +5 °C object and ambient temperature. Special instructions: MEGA 361 Megasol must not be applied to synthetic resin enamels, glossy emulsion paints, or wood. Stir thoroughly before use and reseal tightly after use. Corrosive. Carefully cover glass, natural stone, ceramic, and metal surfaces in the immediate vicinity of the coating. Protect skin and eyes from paint splashes.

Storage: Cool, but frost-free. Shelf life: 12 months in the unopened original container. Declaration of ingredients: Sodium silicate, styrene acrylate, water, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, talc, mica, additives

Disposal instructions: Only recycle completely empty containers. Dry material residues can be disposed of according to waste code no. 170107 (construction site waste) or liquid according to waste code no. 080112 (water-thinnable waste paint).
