A matte, durable dispersion latex paint for walls and ceilings. The ELF setting makes it ideal for sensitive residential and commercial areas. Suitable substrates include masonry, solid plaster, plasterboard, concrete, fiber cement boards, woodchip wallpaper, fiberglass wallpaper, sound old paint, and similar surfaces.
Plastic dispersion, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, silicates, water, additives, preservatives. Advice for isothiazolinone allergy sufferers is available at +49 030 60 00 02 49.
Apply a rich, even coat, diluted with a maximum of 5% water if necessary. On high-contrast, highly absorbent, or unevenly absorbent surfaces, a primer coat diluted with a maximum of 10% water is recommended. Can be applied by brush, roller, and airless sprayer.
Nozzle 0.021" - 0.026"
Spray pressure 150 - 180 bar
Spray angle 40° - 50°
Lower processing temperature limit: +5°C substrate and ambient temperature. Drying time: At +23°C and 50% relative humidity, the surface is dry and ready to paint after approximately 4-6 hours. At lower temperatures or higher humidity, the drying time is longer.
Clean tools/equipment with water immediately after use.
Nozzle Spray pressure Spray angle 0.021" - 0.026" 150 - 180 bar 40° - 50° + 5°C substrate and ambient temperature. At + 23°C and 50% relative humidity, the surface is dry and can be painted over after approx. 4-6 hours. At lower temperatures or higher air humidity, the drying time is longer. Clean tools/equipment with water immediately after use. To avoid streaks on larger surfaces, rapid coating must be carried out wet on wet. For airless application, stir the paint well before use and thin and sieve if necessary. Cleaning work on the dry coating film can change the surface gloss or cause slight abrasion. With colored paint coats, mechanical stress on the surface can lead to scratches (the so-called writing effect). If the surface is subject to heavy stress, coat with Diessner Latex Satin. When used in rooms for food storage, we recommend removing these items during the renovation and drying phase. Perform partial touch-ups on the dried paint film using the same materials and tools. Depending on the lighting, the touch-up area may show signs of wear. If necessary, consider using an interior paint suitable for touch-up work from the Diessner range.
The substrates must be sound, dry, and free of dirt, efflorescence, discoloration, fungal growth, sintered layers, fine grain layers, and separating substances. Existing coatings must be tested for suitability, adhesion, and load-bearing capacity. Observe VOB, Part C, DIN 18363, Paragraph 3, the relevant BFS data sheets, and Technical Data Sheet 001.
Gypsum-based fillers that are spread out "zero" flush with the substrate can, under unfavorable drying conditions, swell due to the moisture in the paint coating, form bubbles and flake off, or lead to later adhesion problems. Therefore, the suitability of the various materials must be checked in advance and the leaflet No. 2 Filling Gypsum Boards of the Federal Association of the Gypsum and Gypsum Board Industry must be observed. In individual cases, subsequent hardening with a non-pigmented, transparent primer (Diessner Hydrosol Deep Penetrating Primer) must be tested on sample areas. If in doubt, the gypsum-based filler layer must be removed or substrate-related filling work must be carried out with dispersion-based fillers (Diessner Akkordspachtel, Diessner Akkord Füllspachtel) and pre-treated with a primer coat of Diessner Deep Penetrating Primer. Gypsum-containing filler surfaces that have been created with a load-bearing layer thickness must be leveled with a pre-coat of Diessner Hydrosol Deep Penetrating Primer.
Only recycle completely empty containers. Dispose of liquid material residues at an authorized collection point for old paint/varnish. Dried material residues can be disposed of as cured paint or as household waste. AVV - Waste Code No. 080112.
Special notes
Keep out of reach of children. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water. Remove contact lenses, if present and continue rinsing. When spraying, do not inhale paint mist and wear a combination filter A2/P2 for paint spraying work and safety goggles. Sanders use dust filter P2. Ensure thorough ventilation during application and drying. Avoid eating, drinking and smoking while using the paint. Do not allow to enter drains, waterways or the soil. Wash away paint splashes on all types of surfaces while still wet with water. For further information, see EC safety data sheet.
