MEGA 203 primer concentrate dilutable

is a water-based special primer for emulsion paint coatings for exterior and interior use.

Application: For leveling and strengthening sandy and absorbent mineral substrates such as plaster, plasterboard, sand-lime brick, brick, fiber cement, concrete, aerated concrete and old emulsion paint coatings with strong and/or uneven absorbency.

Binder base: acrylate copolymer dispersion

Specific gravity: Approx. 1 - 1.02 kg/l

Gloss level: Silk gloss, depending on the amount of water added to satin matt

Processing:

Brush, roll, or spray, including airless application. Avoid the formation of a film.

Subsurface:

The substrate must be clean, dry, and load-bearing. The guidelines of VOB, Part C, DIN 18 363, Sections 3.1.1 to 3.2.11 must be observed. Fresh plaster must be sufficiently cured.

Paints:

With all commercially available emulsion paints and synthetic resin plasters for indoor and outdoor use.

Cleaning of tools: Rinse with water immediately after use.

Technical data

Dilution: With water max. 1 : 4 (1 RT concentrate to 4 RT water)

Consumption: Approx. 80 - 150 ml/m² depending on the absorbency of the substrate for one coat, with a mixing ratio of 1:4. Exact consumption values ​​for the calculation must be determined on the object.

Drying: At 20 °C and 65% relative humidity, the paint can be recoated after approximately 8 hours. Allow longer drying times in cool, humid conditions.
