MEGAgreen 271 Hydrosol EKF - Deep Primer

Emission-minimized and preservative-free, transparent deep primer on an aqueous, fine-particle polymer dispersion basis for indoor and outdoor use for priming absorbent substrates such as masonry and mineral plasters.

Application of Tiefgrund Hydrosol:

Apply with a paintbrush, broom, or sprayer, including airless sprayers. Mix the material thoroughly before use (shake the canister). Apply undiluted, wet-on-wet, and evenly. The application of the material should consolidate the substrate evenly, but should not result in a dense, glossy film. If necessary, dilute the material 10–20% with water and apply a test coat.

Substrate: The substrate must be clean, dry, and sound. The guidelines of VOB, Part C, DIN 18 363, Paragraph 3, must be observed. Non-adhering old coatings must be completely removed. Fresh plaster must be sufficiently cured.

Technical data

Dilution: Ready to use. Dilute with water to a maximum of 10–20% if necessary.

Cleaning of tools: Wash with soap and water immediately after use.

Drying: At +23°C and 50% relative humidity, recoat after approximately 8 hours. In cool, humid conditions, allow for a longer drying time.

Consumption: Approx. 150 ml/m² for one coat, depending on the substrate. Exact consumption values ​​for calculations must be determined on the project. Airless spraying: Nozzle: 0.013"–0.015" inch. Spray pressure: 60–80 bar. Spray angle: 20–50°. Please note: When spraying, apply the primer evenly. Avoid the formation of gloss by applying overcoats. Protect adjacent surfaces, objects, etc. from drips or overspray.

General information

Processing temperature: at least + 8 °C for air and substrate

Storage: Store in a cool, but frost-free place. Approximately 24 months in the unopened original container.

Declaration of ingredients: Fine-particle polymer dispersion, potassium silicate, water, additives. Disposal instructions: Only recycle completely empty containers. Dispose of liquid material residues at an authorized collection point for old paints/varnishes. Dried material residues can be disposed of as cured paints or as household waste.

Hazard and safety information: Keep out of reach of children. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water. Remove contact lenses, if present and continue rinsing. If application is possible by spraying: Use combination filter A2/P2 and safety goggles for overspray. Wear safety goggles if there is a risk of splashing. When sanding, use dust filter P2 and safety goggles. Ensure thorough ventilation during application and drying. Avoid eating, drinking and smoking while the paint is in use. Do not allow to enter drains, waterways or the soil. Wash away paint splashes on all types of surfaces with water while still wet.
